I've tried to get Backyard Baseball running on Mac OS X 10.4.3 with ScummVM 0.8.0a but have had little success. While the game's compatibility is only listed as 20% completed the comments do say 'Game is playable, with glitches', so I figure I should at least be able to get it to run. However, when I load it up I get the 'Humongous Entertainment' screen followed by the 'It's Junior Sports' screen, and then ScummVM crashes. Has anyone else had this experience, or does anyone have any recommendations?

Download Backyard Baseball 1997 here, or Backyard Baseball 2001 here. Double click to open the zip file. It should open a folder called Backyard Baseball. Open ScummVM and click “Add Game.” Navigate to find the Backyard Baseball folder and click “Choose.” 6. You should see a screen like the one below.
